very true, but it is illegal to simply add it to any handgun or rifle that is under 16" barrel length, unless it's a c&r like the lugers/mausers that came with them or you add the $200 sbr tax stamp and associated paperwork.

I'd like to get one for my 1911 and add the 50 round drum available. Add a 10 or 12 inch barrel and a laser sighting system (like the Crimson Trace), and you'd have a mean little .45 carbine that would be easy to find spare parts for.
