Shooting the HK MK23
I updated my video equipment and wanted to get a short video shooting demonstration of the HK MK23, the one, the only, the monster....

Many years back, I shot a couple of MK23s---like all HKs they are very high quality, but just too damn big! I currently have an HK 45C and a USPf in 45.

Nice but big and expensive. Parts and accessories are expensive too. They are cool, but not my personal cup of tea.

Sweeeeet! I love those pistols! I won't be able to afford one until I'm 50... Well, I could cash out my retirement now. Wonder how the wife would feel about that...

Fortunately, I did not spend anywhere even remotely close to the retail price. Picked it up gently used from a guy who was looking to get some cash, quickly, and...*before* HK discontinued making them. I kind of feel sorry for the guy, well...almost.
: )
My next quest is to get a KAC suppressor for it.
