shooters arms?
Man what a terrible name. Took a look at some of their 1911 models, something not right about the "steel" version. The beavertail and safety has an odd bluish hue to it as does some of the surrounding area. Is that just a high polish and bad pic? Anyone heard of these, let alone experienced?

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

My personal opinion, there is nothing on their site that is either attractive in it's fit and finish, or innovative.
They're doing as so many others are, rehashing the same old same old. Except with much less class than even Red Jacket.
They really had better step up their game, big time, or they'll never get off the ground.

That really is a bad name isn't it?
Man I hope those guns look better in person than the pics.

At least all the "running" parts are stainless416 steel. Should last well. What is the price of it? Where are they from? Looked at the link but as usual there was no location given.

Another cookie cutter philippines based company looks like. Figured a trend was imminent. Now there will be all sorts of subpar companies like this popping up over there, trying to ride the RIA/Metro coattails.

SAM used to supply the 1911s for Charles Daly.
There were concerns about fit and durability.
I had one. Every aftermarket part I tried to put on needed extensive work to fit.
Even the grip screws were not standard.
I do not know how their quality is now, but a couple of years ago, I would say stay away.

Mill's Fleet Farm sells them now. I fondled a SAM 1911 at the sales counter, trigger felt okay, finish was consistent, extended slide release. Seemed like a decent package for $525 or so OTD. That is the extent of my experience.
