That's true, but every time I empty the chamber I dry fire so I am able to load a round at any point in the future by just racking the slide. My pistol grip makes use of that button very difficult to manipulate.
My point is that if it were a Mossberg, that shell that was ejected must have been an empty shell left in the chamber after some shooting. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to eject it w/o operating that button.
