Default Sauer and sohns 38h

Picked this up Sunday it's a Sauer 38 H was manufactured late during WWII. The H stands for hammer less however there is a hammer under the slide. The 38H originally had a safety in the slide on the left and a decocker. They were also blued. Later in the war they stopped blueing and then stopped putting a safety. This one still has the decocker but at the very end they stopped putting.the decocker also. Then when the factory was seized the 38H was no longer produced. This is stamped 3 places with the nazi eagle and the military acceptance stamp. Chambered in 7.65 (32acp) I cleaned it up a bit but it needs more polishing.

That's pretty cool. If it ever needs a new home keep me in mind and i'll try to scrounge up some money to get it.

I never say never, but I have never sold a gun yet only buy.

But when croak my son may not have the same attitude.

There was one of these sold at auction for over $43,000.00 but it was actually known the name of the officer that carried it. Would sure love to have had that one, it would have been my first one sold. Money talks
