S&W 3913 Ladysmith Pictures
I just got done cleaning it. It was filthy, but it cleaned up nicely . I don't know how some folks think that's acceptable.
It had Hogue grips on it and I swapped them out for gray factory grips that I picked up from Brownells. The Hogues didn't look right to me, but the factory grips may be too short in my hand. The Hogues felt a bit clunky. I guess a range trip will tell.
The pistol is in nice shape and the trigger is decent. I'm not a fan of decockers, but I guess I could get used to it.
I had planned to have it bead and glass blasted and made into sort of a "Ghost Pistol", but now, I'm not so sure. I need to find out if I like it enough to keep it.
My quest has been to find a compact or sub-compact that really floats my boat. So far I'm still looking. I'll see if this Smith fits the bill.
Anyway, here's some pics:

Also I have the Smith 4516, 45acp sub compact and love it, heavy as hell, but a great gun.
Anyway, here's some pics:

CA,
If you decide it is not for you and want to sell it please give me first shot at it. Glasshartt has the Model 60 Lady Smith and that 3913 would be a really nice companion piece.
Also I have the Smith 4516 sub compact 45 that is a great gun, heavy as hell but shoots fantastic. I carried it on duty for over 10 years.

I have carried an S&W v3913 or a 6906 for a number of years. Both are excellent concealed carry weapons especially with an IWB holster.
Of late, I have started carrting a Kahr PM9 just for pure laziness and the convenience of not needing a holster and of course, the concealability.
But the 3913 will always be one of my all time favorite guns. That means a lot because I am old and have been carrying over 40 years. I senbt the 3913 to the S&W Performance Centger and had an action job done. The tigger is now absolutely like glass so it was money well spent.
I'll probably sell both the 3913 and the 6906 because I am not a collector. If I don't have a use for a firearm I will trade it off for something I will use.

Back youngster you know not of what you speak, you are a day late and a dollar short. Be gone from my sight and be grateful that I don't have Glasshartt smite you!
