well you will need to report back after its out of jail. my friends who have an XD 9mm SC, and a S&W sigma 9mm went to shoot mine and they usually jumped on the first one cause of the shorter trigger pull.

I picked it up this afternoon and cleaned it when I got it home. I'm going to take it to the range Sunday and run a bunch of types and weights of ammunition through it for a function test.

No wait in Kentucky. With CDW license it takes almost no time. I looked at the SR9c but already have a Keltec PF9. So I ended up getting the Cougar 9mm as a truck gun.

I like the Cougar. I had an 8045 Cougar and it was a very good pistol.

The Ruger SR9C is a sweet, sweet gun to shoot. I love mine. I'm fine with the extra safety features and the trigger is smooth as can be, low recoil and very accurate. I have the stainless slide and I have to say, it's a very attractive piece.

2010 handgun of the year!

Only thing I can say is the guide rod seems a little flimsy, but you can get aftermarket parts.
