Worst thing about the SR series is the hideous flourescent orange chamber loaded indicator. That thing made me decide against it. The springfield xdm has a chamber indicator and it does not need to draw that much attention. It flags up like a fake barrel on a kids toy. Ridiculous.

I have the SR 40 and the SR9c. I love them both but the c has a way better trigger. Both are accurate guns and I have had no issues with either one. I did a lot of research before buying the SR9c as I wanted a P95. Handled a P95 at a Gander Mountain. It was nice but a lot bulkier than my SR40 which I can carry comfortably IWB. So I obviously ended up with the SR9c with no regrets. As far as the loaded chamber indicator, I don't mind it at all. Mine are both red, not flo orange. I think they are a great safety feature for new handgun users. They do make a stainless blank to replace it if you can't live with it that doesn't stick up with one in the pipe.

For me, being of the female persuasion and fairly new to pistols, I like this feature, but I can see how some would say this a little to too, lol

My first handgun was a P95 Which I still own and love!! I held the SR9 and I didn't like the feel of it, but that's my own opinion.
