I've always liked the Ruger P series and own a few, good pistols, a bit big to CC but a fun range pistol and a home defense firearm. Most of the rest of the world they come with 15 round mags, you can get a 30+ round mag as well (cali sucks when it comes to mag restrictions).

You don't wear eye protection when practicing? Please tell me you wear hearing protection.
