Ruger Mark III or SR22
 

I'm looking to add a semi .22 to my collection. Which one would you prefer between the Ruger Mark III or SR22? Thanks.

I would prefer the sr22 for size,look and engineering quality. The mk3 is probably better for competition shooting.

Personal pref, but I think the Mark tres is WAYyyyy cooler looking. I've though seriously about it several times.

if your going to shoot a lot mark3 hands down no contest. cheap mags easy to find mags and massive aftermarket support. there is even a speed loader out there that actually works well for loading mark3 mags.

its the 10/22 of pistols you can work on every aspect of the gun yourself with nothing but some punches and screwdrivers.

I have the SR22 and love it. Comfy grip and shoots great.

I have shot them both. If u wanna target shoot or compete buy the mark III if you want self defense or tactical practice get the sr22

I have two Mk IIIs. I will be getting an SR22. So, I would say to get both! Really though, it comes down to which one you like more. Either would be great choices.
