Default Ruger Mark III scope help

Has anyone used a Ruger Mark III with reddot or other optic?

I am interested in a Mark III with a rail to mount a holo sight. Is there any interference from ejected cases?

Is there any setup that is preferred?

I was going to buy a Ruger MKIII 22LR 5 1/2" Blue target model. It is not for competition, only practice at the range.

Words of wisdom greatly accepted.

I have a half dozen large caliber handguns and a Ruger MK I. Sometimes you just want to plink.

You'll have no problems. I have a holo scope on my Mark II and it's dead-on and never fails.

I mounted optic's on my Browning Buck Mark.

While it's not a Ruger - I believe you'll have to go through the same process.

It's a lot of fun to shoot.

When I take it to the range - everyone wants to shoot it.

For awhile I had a Bushnell Holo sight on my Ruger Mark III. The rail was easy to install, as was the sight. Made squirrel hunting pretty fun as well plinking. Did pretty good at 25 yards and more.
