Default Ruger 22 Charger

Hey all, I was on the Ruger website and saw their new 22 Charger pistol. I think they look interesting and seem to be feature laden guns.

Anybody know anything about these or have any experience with them?

Hello. I am a Locksmith/ Gun Dealer and the only experiences I have had are,
1) very long handguns hard to shove into safe
2) Nobody will buy this gun from me

The Charger is Ruger's answer to all the people wanting a handgun version of the 10/22. It is exactly the same in all respects aside from barrel length and stock configuration. Same receiver (just recorded as a handgun instead of rifle, and marked "Charger"), same internals and same trigger. Check out: for a bunch more info. These guys are fanatical about all things rimfire.

It seems to be a pretty neat gun. I especially like the laminated stock. They have these on sale in my neck of the woods for $269 w/ folding bipod. Not a bad deal, but I'll just stick to my standard 10/22.
