I read in the forum what it takes to remove the rear adjustable sight from the Mark2, but there was mentioned a "set screw" on the adjustable sight models, and to make sure you remove it before you go pounding away. I'm not sure how old this model is, but I don't see a set screw. Did all of the adjustable models have this screw? Any help would be great.

I suggest going to Rugers webstite Ruger Contact and submit an online request. Just provide the serial number and they should get back to you in about 3 days or sooner...I have done this when I had a question about my .222 Mini 14 Ranch Rifle and they sent me an email the next day!
