I'm interested to see how low set the barrel and slide are, it looks like they are set pretty low and barrel rise should be minimal.

I don't think it's that good looking but, it looks like it could be a good shooter if the triggers right.

I don't see a problem with that.

It's not something I would typically go for, but it's growing on me. Kind of reminds me of a phaser from the new Star Trek movies. I'm ashamed to say that doesn't really bother me too much.

For those interested in the breakdown of the older model and especially a good demonstration of the Pederson system:

Here's a good detailed multi-part YouTube video in the old model:

1)

2)

3)

4)

5)

I haven't been able to finish all of them yet. The old pistol seems very complicated. Pretty neat though.

Default R51 thoughts?

I recently saw the new subcompact Remington unveiled at Shot show. It looks like a pretty decent EDC any thoughts or has anyone had the chance to take one to the range?

It was such a flop that Gen. Patton carried one.

It looks like a very fine pistol. Kind of like a Wolverine of days gone by.
The MSRP is $389 and it will handle +P loads.
I can wait until it reaches my LGS so I can handle one.
The Pederson design goes back a long way.

Patton wasn't well known for making very wise personal decisions.

By that logic officers should slap troops to motivate them... patton did it.

Just cuz a famous person had one doesn't mean it was a great gun.
