recommended ammo for Ruger LC9?
 

Simple as that... I was using some cheapo blazers for the first 100 rounds, but don't want to risk any unnecessary damage to the gun by continuing to do so, if it weren't recommended. I didn't see anything in the user guide as far as brands to stay away from or preferred, but that doesn't mean users haven't found something that Ruger can't list without certain liabilities...

And i'm just talking plinking and practice ammo, of course. So keep cost in mind. I'm not asking for gold plated our anything... Haha

I have ran about 400 rds of sellier & bellot thru mine without one single hiccup. I did buy about 200 rds of blazer to try because it was on sale. I dont think its going to give you any problems its just going to be dirtier ammo. All I have seen is it suggest not using +P ammo , I do know some guys have ran several hundred rounds thru theirs without any problems also but its not recommended

nothing wrong with the cheap blazer its just a little dirtier and variable charge weights. its just plinking ammo. the cases i think are aluminum and wont hurt steel parts like surplus steel cased russian stuff can.
