Default Range report kahr p9 issue

I was at the range today and decided to shoot some hollow points in my p9.
I was shooting remington 115gr jhp (L9MM1). With the first clip I had 2 failure to fire's. The trigger in fact did not get cocked after the round got chambered. Ejected that round, fired a couple more times then it repeated. This happened a couple more times then I shot 6 more clips with no incidence. I am wondering if this might have been limp wrist issue. I also put the ejected rounds back in the clip and they fired. I have probably shot 500 rounds in this pistol also Remington but fmj until today and had no issues with the fmj ammo.

I do not want to come across as a butt head, but they are magazines not clips. Triggers do not cock, hammers and strikers do.

Onward...How many rounds do you have through the gun? Has it been cleaned properly? IMHO Remington ammo is some of the lowest quality ammo available from the domestic makers. Try some better ammo. Limp wrist? Maybe. If you are not holding the gun firmly, it may not lock up properly leading to problems. If the gun is new, it may need to get broken in with a few hundred rounds until it smooths out and functions properly.

Sounds to me like it could be failure to return to battery. I'm gonna go with Robo here and ask if the gun has been cleaned properly, and especially the chamber.

For every action, there is an equal reaction.
115gr may not have enough energy to cycle the slide completely. Try 124gr.
If that works, then stay with the 124gr for awhile.

Thanks for the replies. I apologize for not being able to describe this problem like an expert (which I am not). First I have put about 500 rounds thru this pistol. This was the first time I shot hollow points. I clean the pistol after every trip to the range. I will re-read the manual about cleaning. When I clean it I take the slide off, take the barrel out, wipe off everything I can get to with CLP, run a brass brush thru the barrel and put a little grease on the grooves in the slide. Back to the problem. The slide looks like it cycles fully, ie it completely chambers the next round. Then when I pull the trigger, no click. I cycle the slide and eject the round. Next several rounds fire then the same thing as above. Then another 40 rounds with no issues.
