Default Polymer vs. metal

A man walks into a room and places two guns in front of you. A polymer and a full metal gun. Both are functionally the same. You can only have one. Which one do you pick and why?

Not enough info to make a decision. I'd rather have a metal 1911 than a polymer hi-point but I'd rather have a polymer Heckler & Koch than a metal llama.

no where just echoing your post above

the material is typically irrelevant. a bad gun is a bad gun.

there just as many crappy all metal guns as there are crappy poly guns

I personally like metal guns because they're typically easier to modify.
