pleeasse help! taurus pt1911

just purchased a taurus pt1911 in 9mm. i cant find much information or parts for the 9mm version of this gun. i was wondering where i could find a compensator for a 9mm, i would really appreciate it. and or grips that would fit this gun

Any standard government 1911 grips will fit. Be aware that the factory Taurus grip screws use a larger than normal diameter head so you'll need new ones.

Why in the world would you want to compensate a 2lb+ steel 9mm...

taurus would pretty much be the sole source for spare parts. im not sure if the grip screw holes are the same as a 1911. if not again taurus would be pretty much it less you were able to find something on hogue's page.

for compensators i would check out clark customs. i believe they have one for the pt 1911 in 9mm. contact info:
