Default pistol sights

I am looking for better sights on my 1911. I like high sights but also I want clearly visible sights in any light. Any suggestions.

Dick Heinie Figure 8 Sights!
The human eye can detect the alignment of vertical much faster and accurately than horizontal alignments of sights. The old traditional alignment of three dots is not as quickly acquired than the Heinie Figure 8 vertical sights. Which is readily aligned by the eye. They are also tritium! You simply place one circle on top of the other and shoot!

I am a fan of adjustable sights, even on my carry guns. Mainly because the PD required us to qualify out to 50+ yards with both hands. Look at Wilson Combat's website, they have a variety of sites available. I have some guns with night sights and some without, and neither one is better or worse than the other if you have to shoot in a hurry...
