Mine did as well. I read somewhere that they had issues with the decocker and started installing the safety. I think mine was test fired March 2013.

It is one of the most comfortable handguns I have ever held and I have held a lot of handguns. It points perfectly. I can bring it up with my eyes closed and the sights will be right there and aligned when I open them. I sure did not need it but when I picked it up I did not want to put it down so it came home with me.

Chloe,

Very Nice Pistol!
I have never shot a CZ but will have to do that someday.
Send somemore Range Reports and some Pics when you get a chance.
Looks like a very well made piece!

Welcome to the addiction! I have to say I had the original Duty, not the new and improved version, and from what I'm told the new one is even better than the original. I do have the P-09, and it is all that and a bag of chips, as a former coworker used to say. It's actually no bigger than my CZ SP-01 Phantom, and I carry that concealed daily in a High Noon Down Under holster. The only thing my P-07 had that made ccw an unpleasant option was the very aggressive texturing on the grip. Carrying under a t-shirt in Arizona summer weather left my side somewhat scraped raw. I had to wear a garment underneath the covering garment, and then all was well. It was accurate and reliable - have fun with you'r new CZ! it won't be your last. I leave you with some P-07 "porn"...

how do you carry? I carry mine at 4 o'clock with no undershirt and I have little or no rubbing from the grips.

now that I have the P07 I am looking at the RAMI. They are addicting.

The RAMI is far more accurate than people believe - using this one, my wife's RAMI BD, "Black Diamond" I was able to tag my 1/2 scale IDPA target at 100 yards one out of three tries. However, to get a good solid grip I had to use the pictured optional 14 round extended magazine. My wife can use the standard mag with no difficulty, but not me.

chloeshooter, I don't - it went on a permanent loan to someone who needed it more than I did. When I did carry it it rode in the Slide Guard holster with a t-shirt under it, and a light shirt/jacket over it in summer weather. Remember that was a very first generation P-07. It did feel like a cheese grater on my fatness. My CZ SP-01 Phantom doesn't do that, and neither does my P-09. One thing was for sure about my P-07 - no matter rain, snow, sleet or oil, that puppy was NOT going to come out of my grip!

I expect that over time and capture of market share, CZ will figure out they are under-pricing their guns - they already know this no doubt - and the days of 'cheap' CZs will be over....
Not before I get a few more. Also Cajun Gun Works makes a great trigger kit for the PO7. I absolutely love my PO7 I just need to upgrade the sights.
