I actually ended up getting rid of my PF-9. I traded it in on a Ruger LCP, which I think works much better as a pocket pistol.

My has about 500 rds though it no failures what so ever. As far as recoil try Magtec's 95 grain low recoil ammo. I can tell the difference. I had a pt3at but the mag release would sometimes release the mag while in the holster. Could have been the holster, but really like the pf9 a lot more.

I can easily shoot 200 round out of it. Not that I need to shoot more then one.....

The p3at is the same size as the Ruger, I think that the small increase in size I like the 9mm better. The Ruger is a great gun but nothing more than a copy of the Kel-Tec.

I like my PF9. It hasn't coughed for me, puts them all in a pattern the size of your fist as fast as I can align the sights and fire at about 15 yards. The Lovely Mrs Freefall hates it, somehow she bumps the mag release and dumps the mag every 2-3 shots. But it's the gun I most often carry, it's just too handy. And I don't find the recoil too objectionable.
