P22 slide discoloration need help
ok i posted this under a diff category but it got no hits so maybe this will be better.I have a P22 its 2 years old and its never been fired by me and it was bought used ive had it in a safe the entire time and i noticed after a couple months the slide has a weird shade of color and where it says walther or P22 is almost completely faded is that bad?can it be undone? ive attached a pic so you can understand and im the kind of guy were this little thing bugs me

Personally, I would check with manufacturer.

i just got my gun back from Smith & Wesson since they do the dealing they comletly replaced the slide so now its brand new and no discoloration or fading!!
