Congrats on the new gun,I have an M&P40 and love it.Nice shooting pistol.
I had a Para Ordnance .40 and traded it in(on a Glock).

Great price on a great shooter. I have had my M&P for just over a year now and still love it. The factory trigger leaves some to be desired, but it does smooth out after around 500 shots fired. You might also check into the APEX kits to smooth things out better, give a more pronounced reset, and have a lighter trigger pull. They are pretty inexpensive and not too bad to install. There are also videos of doing a "trigger job" on it available if you are so inclined. Other than the factory trigger, I think the M&P is probably one of the best poly guns made today.

Thanks for the advise on the trigger. I believe I will try out the factory trigger for a couple thousand rounds and see how it is.
