Yea this is my second pistol, and it's my first striker fired, and I know glocks are supposed to be super reliable, but I just like the peace of mind in having a manual thumb safety.

That's my biggest gripe against glock, other than the trigger pull, is the fact that there really isn't a manual safety, I like a exposed hammer with ambi safety capable of single or double action. I picked up a Beretta.

How much did you pay for yours, and does 550 seem good for one?

Is the one for 550 new or used? Either way I would say it is a decent price for it even if it used as long as it is lightly used, mine was very lightly used, less than a box of shells shot through it by a LEO who traded it for something different. I paid just over 600 with the tax and background checks and all.

It looked mint, but I'm not sure if it was new or used. Just a lil out of my price range for now. But I would love a beretta someday

Since your talking Beretta, here's a few:

92 upper right, 96 lower right, Cougar in .45 ACP lower left.
