NEW PISTOL! kel tec pf9

3 Attachment(s)
I bought a used pf9 today for $200 OTD.
It needs to be cleaned. It likely never has been. Shaking my head.
I have a s&w sw9ve 16+1 9mm.
I have been carrying the Smith for 4 months since received my CWL.
I was bull headed not listening to anyone who told me... "your gonna want a smaller pistol" but yes I succumbed to the pocket appeal of the Kel tec.
Anyone have or had one got some tips, good, bad, experience etc???

Lol at the serial number! I have a pf9 and has been flawless. So nice and small, but a little big for pocket carry IMO. I would go to ktog.org and look at their ideas for a fluff and buff. I did that to mine new out of the box and it has been good. I don't know if it changed anything but it only took a little bit. Enjoy!

I have been carrying a Kel Tec 9 for a couple of years. I added the trigger, and clip kit. Mine shoots fine. I just shoot it enough to keep the feel of firing it.

See photo for the clip, no need for holster. it lays so flat you can cover it with a T shirt.

Whats the deal with the serial number?? You showed it!! no big deal.

Do Not use a clip only for iwb . Buy a basic iwb holster if you want to iwb carry . Its easier on you and the gun. Clips or not made for your comfort or safety for wearing every hour your away from the inside of your home. You can get a old faithfull holster kit for 39 bucks and all you do is bolt it to gether. Even for pocket use a holster, a basic desntis pocket holster will do. .

What to do . Get a free used inner tube at a bike shop. 1/75" size. Custom cut a piece for your grip. Helps with control big time. Thats all I did in a couple years I cc'd my pf-9 , well that and around 2000 trouble free rounds fired thru it. Solid hard recoiling defence pistol.

I had a PF9 for a while. Made the mistake of shooting it at the range and instantly didn't like it anymore. It's no fun to shoot, too snappy. I realize it's not a range gun, it's a belly gun, BUT I want to like shooting what I carry so I traded it off for a compact single-stack 9mm made by STI. Small guns have a place and the PF is fine so you'll be happy provided you don't shoot it a lot.

My wallet will make sure of that. LOL @ $38 for 50 rounds of 115gr fmj

Call Kel Tek, tell them you want the Clip kit. If you want the trigger kit, tell them.

(the trigger kit has is a slip on trigger cover (comes with Allen wrench) that make shooting the kel tec a lot more comfortable to the trigger finger.)

Or, go Kel tek web site and look these kits up.
