The only issue with converting for practice is it will not condition you to handle the recoil of the larger round and will affect you follow ups and such. Same goes with shooting the same grain bullet at all times. There are tons of variables.

I don't plan on converting my gun if I wanted a 9mm I would buy a 9mm. I don't trust converting guns its my ordeal of safety precautions. Plus got to get use to the caliber that's protecting your life.

H&K have a good reputation but I have never been a fan. I have never held one and thought... WOw... thats a good fit. I haven't felt comfortable holding one and could never ignore the much higher than necessary prices... Too many really great alternatives... FNP40, FNX40, SR40, M&P 40, XD40, XDm40, Sig, and on and on...

Well everyone it's been awhile. I finally found the right gun for my needs I went with s&w mp40 it shoots great and feels great in the hand
