For a .45 the gun is surprisingly smooth and DEADLY accurate. I have carried that SA 1911 a couple times because its quite literally the EXACT same size as my Glock26 in 9mm......but learning the 2 different triggers and developing muscle memory from a draw is throwing me off. Im sticking with Glock for carry, although I'll still probably the 1911 out for carry from time to time
Yea I can understand that. I have a Glock 23 and after purchasing my Kimber it was a big difference in trigger and feel so I can see what you are talking about.

My brother-in-law has one and it goes bang every time. It's pretty light. I would not have a problem owning one.

They're good guns that don't get much love. The only thing bad about them is the trigger pull, which can be fixed. Have fun, go shoot the piss out of it, and trust that your grandkids will enjoy it someday.

Great pistol and a great shooter for the dough not a whole lot of aftermarket parts for it but it is a great reliable pistol for the price and often the pistol I steer people to when they are concerned about easy of use reliability and price.

Get the S&W SD VE instead. It has a much better trigger!
