Does the beaver tail make a big difference, other than making it look even cooler?

Seems to me it makes it more comfortable and easier to keep a consistent grip with.

I paid a little over $1100 for it. The place I bought it at let me make installment payments on it so I didn't shop around. They can be bought cheaper than that but honestly I can't just reach bak and grab $1000 to drop on a firearm.

It's called a P229 Scorpion 9mm. They have a whole product line of Scorpions. I have the 1911 version as well, which is what got me started on this path. If you are considering one you really should check out the 1911. Is freaking smooth as silk. I'm thrilled with mine.

I'm really interested in that scorpion. What's the accuracy like? Compared to other guns. I don't want to drop that much but I will for that beauty.
