The thing that I didn't like about the red dot is that I had to get a mount for it. Optic runs $240 or so at academy but the mount was $50. I haven't sighted in yet but I do plan on it. I love the look

It's a great look and I could see it being very useful in a room to room environment . I may look into one for a FNX I have.

Had a P-18 9mm widebody frame with a Caspian 1911 slide on it with a J-Point like that i had milled for it--Loved it---
At the very top of list of handguns i wish i still had

It's very similar to the tactical. It's not threaded, the sights aren't raised and it's a little lighter

Oh man Hoss, I bet that was a sweet handgun, I hate that you had to get rid of a custom piece like that.... always a sad day when you have to let a toy go when it is one you really like

The tactical that comes in the bag? Very nice pistol, pricey and kinda hard to find.
