I've owned many, many 45s over the years... Several 1911s of a few different brands (Springfield, Kimber, Dan Wesson, Ed Brown), several HKs (HK45c, HK45, USPc45), an XD45 and a Stoeger Cougar 45.

The one that interests me right now is the Beretta PX4 in 45...

I got p220 carry that I also love about the same as my mc operator, tuff call. I carry a Glock 23 off duty, it's my favorite. I've had for 14 years and about 20,000 rounds through it. I don't recall any malfunctions, and pretty accurate(better than 95% from 25 yards 100% from 20 yards for requals), I have done my own torture test to it(over night in the freezer, it has sat dirty after 1,800 rounds for about 6 months and still shot 200 rounds before I cleaned it and lubed it, berried it in the sand, swimming in 3 rivers and 2 lakes and the gulf of mexico, threw it in gravel, and mud and mud puddles, and I still use it today as my off duty weapon.

Springfield Professional, the FBI chose it because it past their torture test and still shot a 2 1/2" or smaller group at 25 meters. It's almost 4 grand. Their 2 best is the TRP Operator for about 3 grand.

G30. Look no further than a Glock.
