I own three of them. Two .40's and a .380. I like them, too. If you run out of ammo you can club someone to death with them. It's like smacking someone with a Buick that fits in your hand.
They're great beaters, and, as has been said, cheap. I run Federal ammo through all three, and they gobble it up and spit it out. Now, I had to run about two hundred rounds through the .380 before it decided that it liked Federal.

LOL... I've owned a Hi Point 995 Carbine, a 1984 Ford EXP, and been torn down on Schaefer plenty of times. Well I sold the 995, wrecked the EXP, and drink Bud Select now.

Like others said... the C9 is fine for a cheap range/plinker/tackle box gun. But I would not carry it. There are many better choices. I am a big fan of my new Ruger SR9c.
