Default Need info on old Walther PP22, please.

A friend has an old Walther PP22 that he needs a magazine for. I told him I would try to research it and find a mag. Now I find that I don't know enough about this gun to help him. He describes it as a pre-1945 model PP22. He supplied the number 23992P, but I don't know if that is a serial number, or something else. If anyone out there can give me any additional info, or where I might find the correct mag, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Contact Walther. The new ppk/S mags may fit it.

Many years ago, I had a PP22. Of all the guns that I have traded and sold over the years, that PP is the one that I most regret selling.

During the years that I owned it, it made one hell of a dent in the rattlesnake population.

Contacted Walther, and they directed me to Earl's Gun Shop. Apparently Earl has the mags in stock. Pricey, but available. Thanks again.
