2.8K$ and you need to add something??

Why would you slum it with a wilson when your budget is in the range of the upper NighHawks???

O.K., either one of these would do.... BUT I still need to add the southpaw safety...

Seriously, I don't know too much about the high end 1911's. I'm happy with my Para-Ordnance 1911's, but one of these would be nice someday!

If I said to my wife I was buying something like that for Christmas it's possible that I might own it but also could be homeless. I don't think I could get away with bringing up the idea that I believe I need an AK 47, SKS, AR or Mini 14 type rifle. Even after what I consider sort of an equalizing purchase for her of a high end Whirlpool washer and dryer, no pun intended but I don't think that would wash. A few weeks ago I looked at a Springfield Armory 1911 TRP stainless steel, it really wanted to stay in my hand except for my wallet being short $1200. If I do get a 1911 I'll probably get it in 40 S&W since two other semi-autos I own are 40's I kind of want to stick to the same ammo.

I would have bought all weapons in 45 ACP cal except that it's been almost unobtainable locally for months, 40 S&W on the other hand is frequently on the ammo shelves.

$2.8k for a pistol is was to much. I paid $2k for my car to go back n forth to work. Don't get me wrong Wilson is a nice pistol but so is Springfield's Operator and Kimbers TRL.
But to each his own. Hope you get what you want for X-mas.

No way I could afford that either. Just put it up for fun and to see what everyone thought would be a good "if only I could have" piece.
