Default Multiple of same caliber?

Not as if one needs a reason, just curious, how many, if any, do you have that are of the same caliber(s), and why?

I've got two nines and two 45s with a single stragler 380. Of each, sans the 380, there is one compact and one full size. Reasoning can be mucked with all sorts of rationalizations, but the simple truth is that I just wanted them! Partly for the variety of size, part due to timing and a good price, and, lastly, a sprinkle of need to have more than my friends.

Hahahahahaha

I have doubles and tripples of calibers I like. Why? Because I wanted to and I could.

That too was part of my reasoning. 9mm is cheap and what I shoot the most because of it.

I have the entire set of each pistol caliber made by Hi-Point Firearms, to include the 4595TS, just because I can, and that's what I wanted. Living in America is great, living in Michigan is far greater. Michigan is a "will issue" state, and I can, if I want, carry all my weapons, all at the same time.

I'm at the point where I'm not real wild about adding an more calibers. No problem adding multiples. I have .22, 9mm and .45 in handguns. I even turned down a Colt Chief's Special Revolver in chrome for $400 at a gun show over the weekend because I didn't want to buy another caliber.

My stupid arse keeps buying guns of different calibers. Guess I just want one of each! Next purchase hands down is a GSG 1911 .22. Finally a gun I have ammo for

I have eighteen 357s, ten 1911s in 45, four 9mms, five 38s, and a whole bunch more of all kinds of stuff!

Why, you ask?

Because I wanted them.

I make my firearms choices based on calibers that I already own. .22 ,.40, .45, .223, .308, 12 gauge. All readily available and inexpensive to stock up on.

Also they get the job done! I can't think of anything reasonable that my set of calibers can't do, so why expand and make me have to keep track of yet another caliber's ammo price.
