This Ruger firearm was not intended for target practice, it isn't bullseye accurate. LAUGHABLE AT BEST..
I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

Out of a baker's dozen handguns, all of mine work well and are holding up. Heck, even my 99 year-old Luger. But I'd say the Glocks are closest to "indestructable".
The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.

Check out Tac-tv's torture test of the Glock... I know it's tv but still... Looks pretty convincing

Ok, lets talk recalls. This is just a sampling, by no means complete. Just what I could find with a quick look on the web.
I just picked six brands. These include revolvers, pistols, and rifles. These are documented recalls going back to about 1993, maybe a little later.
There may be more for every brand. (I would suspect there are for Berretta and Sig.)

Ruger 17 recalls
S & W 52 recalls
Sig 1 recall
Berretta 1 recall
Glock 4 recalls
Remington 61 recalls

You can see a good list at An Introduction to Forensic Firearm Identification

If anyone knows another good listing, please let me know.

Glock. Like em or not they're built to last. It's also hard to argue with the 1911, 100 years and still near the top of the heap.

Also have to agree with Glock, love them or hate them, you can not disagree that they are a superb weapon and can withstand ABUSE like no other......

I have to agree with Glock. The Sig classics like the 220 and 226 have got to be up there too.

This is great feedback....if I were going into a hostile situation tomorrow I would without a doubt want my Glock 21 by my side over any other pistol out there.....I will also say that it is not by favorite pistol but man is that thing bad a--.

I beat the hell outta my Sig 220 combat all week and she loves it. Think that'll be my vote. If not the Sig then the Glock.
