Default Made my decision

Well I went back to the gun shot today and fondled a whole slew of hand guns trying to figure out the next purchase and decided on the Ruger SR 1911.
Pisser of it is; after 30 minutes of touching and groping everything I finally made up my mind and settled on the Ruger, I pulled out my wallet to get it and was informed that they don't have any yet. That was just the shelf model. They are building the waiting list and they aren't scheduled to get any in for 3 to 5 months. GGgggrrrrrrrrrrrr

Soooooooo.... I should have this around or a bit after Christmas

Good choice. Now the wait begins.

I hate waiting but I'm kind of locked in so I'm stuck dealing with it. Never owned or shot a 1911 so I'm really looking forward to it.

I signed up on the waiting list at Scheels in Iowa City for a SR1911 early this year. They haven't called me yet. I don't know if the list is just that long, or they lost the list.

That really sucks. A little good news would be better.
