It was between this and the Springfield XD in 9mm. The price was similar, but I really liked the way the M&P felt in my hand.

Cool. I just decided to go the XDM route. . It is a tough choice I loved the M&P, XD, and XDM.

Just wanted to bump this thread with a hearty saying that I STILL LOVE MY CHEAP SIGMA!! Had it since 2008 and have a few thousand down the tube! Have many pistols that cost more, but still love my sigma!

I once had a Sigma that never jammed. Unfortunately I sold it years ago and bought a customized M&P .40C that is way better.

My wife bought a M&P 9C....I like it better than my Glcok G27....fit my fat hand better. I'm not sure why someone would turn their nose up to a M&P.

M&P's are great. The only gun I have shot as comfortable is the XD/XDMs. I am not saying there are not better guns but I haven't found as comfortable and fun ones.

My Sigma 9V.
I love the feel of this gun. Its the only thing I have found that is as comfortable as the XDm, now I just can't wait to go to the range with Linuxuser and compare the two!

Definitely love my m&p 9mm. Excellent ergos! Fits like a glove with the large backstrap. Extremely reliable. Smooth trigger. I have nothing negative to say about this gun. I'm also partial to it because it's my first ever firearm purchase
