I have one and love it so far. Just ran some more carry ammo through it last night and it performed flawlessly. It eats Speer Gold Dot +P without issue.

Just waiting for my Raven holsters to arrive then it is my primary carry.

^^^^^^^

Love the look of that gun. If I walked in a saw that I would have to have it.

Yes, that two tone color could convince me too.

I have or should I say had a M&P9C, my daughter has it as one of her carry guns now. A solid gun shoots nice and easy to conceal even on a small girl. Only problem with it so far was the front top of the barrel and the inside top of the slide were eating each other up a little. I called S&W and they sent me a prepaid shipping label and two weeks later I had it back with a new slide and barrel. We have almost 1K rounds thru it since it came back and is flawless now.

My M&P9c is my normal carry gun. I bought it last year and it very quickly jumped high on my list of guns. I love it. Points very naturally for me. Can't say enough about it. If I could only keep one of my handguns, it would be my Para-Ordnance P-14. My M&P would be my second.

So why did you choose it. I am looking at the MP and the Glock 17. I have only shot the Glock 19 and MP .40 and loved the 40. I loved the 40 but will buy a 9. I really was sold on the Glock buy would love to buy the SW because it is made in the USA.

I have the m&p9 pro. One of the best fits as far as my hand goes. You can disassemble the guns with a mag safety by putting the mag back in after the takedown lever has been rotated. Then you take it out and remove the slide off the frame. That way you don't have to mess with the sear deactivation lever. Never malfunctioned on me but my during pin broke in less than 2 weeks and I'm gonna go ahead and say it : the ppl at smith seemed less than excited to fix my brand new gun. They questioned my knowledge over the phone and didn't even offer me a free mag or a t shirt for my troubles. Not like they should have to necessarily, but other gun companies in the past have been more kind when dealing with my warranty repairs.

The 9 and the 40 are exactly the same they only change the barrel. Even the 45 has the same receiver just different upper. So if you loved the 40 you'll love the 9 and probably the 45 too
