looking for a good carry .45
 

Anyone have any good opinions on what would make a good carry .45? I like the 1911 style guns but it seems like the full frame guns might be pretty big for carry. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Take a look at the m&p 45 compact.

Compact 1911. 3.5 or 3 inch.

I sometimes carry a full sized 1911. But another gun I have thant I like a lot is my Bersa Concealed Pro. It is a double stack compact 45. The mag holds 7. It has a decocker and is fully ambidextrous.

Colt makes a compact?

The Commander and Agent sized frames are considered compact.

Kimber makes a number of conceal carry 1911 style .45s. Like the carry pro But the run over $1,000

Best carry piece IMHO is the Light Weight Commander.

And I carry one every day.

Don't own one yet .But Colt Defender is one nice 1911.
