But since I own a H&K .40 myself I am kind of biased
I thought mine full sized .45 was the goods until I shot a Kimber at an indoor range/gun shop. The same day, I dropped my USP on the counter, along with an extra $300 cash and signed papers on a Compact II. I haven't ever looked back.

Everyone does have their preferences. I stated my opinion, and it was just that. Laynejc never even mentioned CC in his original post, it was just something I thought I would mention. Sorry that you feel the need to refute me stating said opinion. I will leave with my tail tucked between my legs and just lurk from here on out.

You stated your opinion and I, in turn, stated mine. No need to lurk or tuck tail and run.

Another vote for the p229 in 9mm ... great feel (for my hands which are on the smaller side). I like my PPS more for CCW due to it's size and weight, but the p229 is easier to shoot for me .. need more practice with the PPS.

How'd I get dragged into this? I was just wondering why the guy was limiting his search??
