I have stated before I have several magazines that have been loaded ( other than while firing or cleaning ) since 1971 and they are fine.

I guess if you really believe you need to unload your springs when not in use you should jack up your car at night to allow the springs to relax for the next days use.

Yes a spring can break - - - and some will but you are more likely to have problems with a grain of sand getting in and jamming than a broken spring ( or weak spring ) failure from a quality magazine.

Buy quality and maintain your equipment and worry about something else!

Of the guns that I shoot regularly, all the mags are fully loaded, if I feel the need to unload them I am not shooting enough. The two safe queens are revolvers and this makes no difference.

Partduex, yeah those revolver springs are a pain to keep up the maintenance on LOL
