That's a good looking M&P right there! I just put one in my hand for the first time the other day (law enforcement buddy of mine's) and wow! Feels great in the hand! Very comfortable. If it shoots half as nice that might get penciled into the ol "gotta have" list...

Great collections!

Josh

Josh if you get the chance to shoot a M&P I expect you will truly enjoy it. As far as I'm concerned it is the best of the polly frame pistols available.

Some "plastic" handguns:
1. FN FiveseveN 5.7X28
2. Glock 23 .40 S&W
3. Keltec P3AT .380 ACPP
4. Springfield XD .357 Sig

M14s, nice USP. How many rounds have you put through it?

Thanks. I have not run too many rounds through it yet. About 700 total, so far. It runs flawlessly with everything from crappy lead range reloads, to Gold Dot, Golden Saber, and SXT. It has a similar recoil impulse to that of a 5" 1911.

I'm still not enthralled with the decocker being part of the safety. It is possible to yank it down hard enough (from cocked and locked) when taking the safety off, to decock the pistol. I may have the decocker neutered eventually.

I haven't shot a USP tactical, but I do love the regular full size in 40.

I was under the assumption that you had to order a conversion kit from H&K to get rid of it.

The guys on the HK Forum tell me that it can be converted, but of course there are no cheap parts from HK. Ha. I'll keep playing with the safety and see if it becomes easier to run well. I've never been an HK fan, but must admit this is a very nice pistol. I am putting some Heinie sights on it as the height of the Tactical sights is not needed unless using a can. And I have the standard barrel for it, too.
