That's what I'd been thinking. The recoil mechanism was designed to really shine at full auto.

Sooo.... For me, it would just be an oversized pistol.

I rented one from my lgs and shoot a few rounds through it. It was a .45Acp and that thing is super accurate but the only thing i didnt like was that the stock that was on it dug into my hand when you would fire it. The one i shot had a full stock and a full lenght supressor and it was awesome. The pic was my first magazine at 25 yards and iron sights with 13 rounds. I will try to find the picture of the one i shot and i believe its for sale from my lgs.

The range around the corner rents a full auto version. I had to give it a try. I ran two boxes of ammo through it. The model I shot had a 6" barrel and a suppressor. Single shot was very manageable, three round bursts were very easy to control. Full auto it does tend to wander a bit, but not as bad as say a Thompson. It never had any FTF, and the controls are easy to use. It uses Glock magazines.
I give it a 9 out of 10. Unfortunately I don't think that .45 ACP is a good carbine round much past about 30 yards. My opinion, your mileage may vary.
