Is Kimber against .40 s&w?
The Kimber Solo is so sexy and perfect for concealed carry but I would prefer more stopping power.

How about a .45 ACP? Does that qualify as more stopping power? .40 is a yuppie round. Mod, my work here is done. plz close the thread

Yes I'm well aware of the compact 1911 but I prefer a pocket-size pistol to give more carry options. I love the looks, feel and attention to detail of Kimber's.

If I can't have a Kimber as my ccw then I'll pick up a SA XD-s, then save up my money and get a full-sized Kimber(oh darn lol)

Gorgeous weapon, I know the 25oz vs. 17oz of the Solo isn't much to many, but I wear a lot of light clothing and want deep cover. Plus I already have .40 s&w rounds from my G23.

If they are it's the first positive thing I find about Kimber!
