kahr C9 vs. Sig P290 9mm
 

Was just wondering on opinions of the guns. I wanna smaller ccw that's smaller and more compact than my M&P compact. I've heard mixed views. I know when I can get to rent them ill make final decision.

Either will serve you well. I carry a Kahr PM 9 daily and trust a Sig 226 .40 as my bedside gun. Of the dozens of handguns I've owned, Kahr and Sig are two of my most trusted pistol brands.

I have the Sig P290 it's a great gun. I'm really excited about the new Sig P938 that is going to be released in Q2 2012.

Kahr makes very good carry pieces.

I'm a huge Sig fan, but am completely unimpressed with the P290. Personally I think the Ruger LC9 offers a better, more concealable subcomp 9mm for about $250-300 less than the Sig. And as a Sig fan, I really would like to like the P290.

Buy the Kahr. Or the Ruger. Save your Sig money for a larger framed alloy service pistol.
