Default K100 Grand Power - kill yourself

I was an owner of the handgun. I've found only the best recommendations regarding this gun and so I bought it.

Hard reality

The firing pin spring was twice destroyed and replaced during 3 months. The fatal failure came with the 1,236th bullet. The barrel was splintered during the last shot and his pieces were shot all round.

Iíve notified Grand Power management about this event and I was expected at least an apology for the fatal failure. Grand Power answer was shocking: Itís normal; we offer a new handgun or money back.

Guys, please save your eyes, health,Ö life.

Have never even heard of the brand or model. Where'd you get it?

Grand Power?

They didn't tell you which way that power was going to be released, did they?

Amazing. Glad you weren't hurt.

Grand Power is basically a new gun on the market, but, if they claim this is a "norm" they will be out of business very soon.

It's a shame nobody limits companies with poor

metals quality, and safety paradigms.

Anybody can have a baby, and anybody

can manufacture firearms.

How much did this pearl cost?

I had to look them up:

On paper they sound quite lovely. Apparently the reality can be somewhat different.
A bit of a downer because I would love to see the market full of low cost, decent quality firearms.

Produced in Slovakia, imported by Century Arms.
List on a 9mm, $430.

"..uses only the finest materials....blah, blah..."

Add my voice to the happy you weren't hurt crowd (seriously man!!). Those pics say volumes!!.... Thanks for posting this as a heads up to the rest of the firearm community. The import market has been flooded lately with new companies and models.... and the word of mouth on this type of issue can save a lot of grief (literally).
As for myself, I will stick to another brand that can be trusted for less... like Ruger... $430 msrp..??? Really ???... You can get a "P" series for a $100 less !!
