I think you are onto something there. That's actually a real solid assessment. Truthfully if you could double stack , say 15 rounds, I wouldn't even care about shedding anything

If I found a high point in either 9, 40 or 45 for $100, I would buy it just to throw it in my back pack and forget about it. I would like a dependable gun that I could just have ready for an emergency with a couple boxes of ammo and a survival kit. I have owned a 45 and it was very dependable.

haven't shot one or even held one, but just looking at them, they do look top heavy. like i said before, if i run across one used at the right price, i'm going to buy one just to keep in my toolbox on my truck. put it in a silicone treated gun sock and keep about 200 rnds of ammo with it, i should be good to go!

Shoot bud, 150 or less brand new, I wouldn't even bother with a used one

But if you can pick up a used one for $100 and for the reassurance of reliability, send it to the factory for a few days for a good "once over" and tune up..and get an extra free mag for your "troubles"... you just saved $50 for 4 boxes of ammo :P

i second that! extra ammo is always a good thing. you can never have too many guns or too much ammo!

Indeed it is. I got my C9 from my brother in law. The warranty doesn't need a name attached to it. It goes with the gun. No questions asked.

We live in a little po-dunk town in Coshocton Ohio - around the gun counter we call this is "Coshocton Glock" last year we had the .380 for $89! During our anniversary sale...dude, everyone in the county showed up and cleaned us out. I think we sold like 200 of the little suckers in a weekend and then continued to plow though the 9CP like it was apocalypse-eve. I can't count how many times people call me on our phone to discuss the guns...it usually is the same thing: "shoots straight, priced great" - I keep looking at them thinking - what the heck, I need to own one just because they are so popular with the natives...but really - if it were a 15 round double stack and something besides red and yellow painted sights...I don't know. I wonder if you could start a cult-culture of custom-modifying these things - they almost couldn't get any uglier. Even a glock looks pretty sweet next to one of these things...the slide feels like if was a left over part from a cast-iron stove...sheesh.
