Painting price is going to kill you. $ 500 on average for the hood alone. Unless you do maaco or earl scheib(poor quality). Good luck...

Thanks for the good luck. Considering the price of the new parts vs. the price of these parts, even having to get it painted I still come out ahead. And at least the new hood is a champagne color, so it wont be TOO garish while I scrape up a little more dough for the paint. And I've seen the kind of work Maaco does, and no, they wont be touching my Caddy.

Wow, I just read every post in this thread and figured what better place for a newb to put his 2 cents in. It really does seem that the only ones who hate on them haven't shot one (and no I have never shot one), well really no one in here was hating too bad but I didn't see one post that said I have one and hate it! You would think that if they were that bad that at least one person would. I would also rather have a 100$ gun than no gun at all, and as far as customer service, and company that has a warranty on the product no matter the owner has my business. I shall now put on my flame suit, NOTHING is uglier than a Glock lmao

I'm not one that picks out my guns because of looks however I do agree glocks aren't the prettiest but by any means are the"uglier" then I hi point. I think the smith and wesson sigma are uglier then a Glock this is my opinion.
Back on subject hi point are descent guns I owned the .380 for probably two months. Shot it maybe 3xs at the range it went bang on ever trigger pull so I was happy for a gun that only cost me 120$ out the door, I ended up selling it to a friend cause I wanted a light weight thinner .380 to carry, I used the money towards my smith and wesson bodyguard.

I was at the gun store yesterday and the hi-point is no longer the ugliest pistol right now. I just saw the beretta PX4 storm sub compact. The berrtta takes over as the number 1 ugliest pistol. This time 2nd place IS better.

I don't know.... I love my Px4 ( I don't pick a gun on looks by anymeans) but I like the style of too. I think the sigma is a pretty ugly gun too.... But the beretta? I don't know about all that

Wouldnt looks and style be sort of the same? And i agree about the sigma as well, it falls into the ugly category as well.

Yes they would, and I didn't buy it for that reason. I just so happen to like the way it looks ( Aka style)
