i agree with Tactical on this. even if your friend gave it to you, you would still be losing money! new they are not much more than that amount.

Spend a bit more and get a Hi-Point instead.

Do a google search for "ring of fire handguns"- explains the saga of Raven, Jennings, Jiminez, etc.
They are very good paperweights. Whatever you do, do not load one. You might accidentally fire it.

Ok haha. That's an easy choice. I rather save up for something better anyway. Ive owned a hi-point it was the only gun I've ever sold. I put the money towards a M1 carbine.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

If you want to upgrade, look into getting a polymer EAA Witness for around $250-300. That would be a pretty huge step-up in my opinion from a Hi-Point while still being affordable.

Jennings and Jimenez are the same gun. I had the Jennings 9. For just a few more bucks you could get a good used High Point just as the other poster said. We really are only talking an extra 25 or 30 bucks. High Points are good guns. They always go bang right when they are supposed to. With the Jennings or Jimenez not so much.
