I'd go with S&W. Not a huge fan of Ruger in general, but not as a rule. They are tough to take down, the S&W is far easier to maintain.

If it were me, I would go with the s&w as well. In fact, had I not bought an xd9 2 weeks before the new version of the smith came out, I would own one today.

Umm this is a good one 95 or sd9. Well if it was me I would get the sd9. I think its better molded to the hand for the hand. But 95 are tanks. Well atleast the p89 was solid. Get the one that make you happy

I hate to ask this but why not just get the S&W M&P in 9mm.

I just bought my son the full size for $462

I still don't think you will be shooting cans at 120ft but at least the trigger will not be the issue.

The M&P would be the superior choice.. I love them... But they cost $140 more then the SD9... For the money the SD9 is a great shooting HD and target gun

I have the SD40VE in my shop and it's nice. IMO I would take the SD9 over the P95 by a slim margin.
